KOB Franchise Enterprises Ltd. is proud to announce the opening of yet another location for Kelly/Carlos O’Bryan’s. The new location is situated at 800 Columbia Street in New Westminster, British Columbia. This heritage building was built in 1899 and was home to the CPR Train Station for decades. In 1973 The Keg opened in this historic building and closed in 2013 after 40 years.

This iconic heritage building will now be home to Kelly O’Bryan’s Neighborhood on the ground floor and Carlos O’Bryan’s Neighborhood Pub on the second floor (pending a rezoning application). There are plans for an outside patio in the front plaza beside Hyack Square.

Renovations will be substantial and all efforts will be made to keep the original integrity of the building intact inside and out. KOB Franchise will work with the City of New Westminster, neighbourhood associations, business associations and the Heritage Society to have a plan that is best for everyone.

Kelly/Carlos O’Bryan’s will employ approximately 80 to 100 full time staff at this location, who will join approximately 400 staff that are currently employed bringing “Pachos to the People” across British Columbia. Although opening date is not expected to be for at least 6 months, training of the management staff will start right away to ensure continuity and quality in our offerings.
