The great press keeps on coming
Keith MacKenzie from The Tyee weighs in on how New Westminster is the next great neighbourhood! He's glad he made a creative decision to move from East Van.
Keith, Editor of the 24 Daily Newspaper, who moved to New West a few years ago (after reluctantly realizing he could only afford to buy housing in the burbs) writes about how New West could be to Vancouver as Brooklyn is to New York. Although Mark Shieh of the River Market was the first to draw that comparison, they may both be on to something.
Keith describes us as "brimming with character, artist studios, indie cafes, old parks, and fixer-upper opportunities. Young people are moving out here in droves".
