Ink & Drink: Calligraphy Edition

Paint and Sips are a popular way for all skill levels to get creative while being social. Craft Cafe is offering a unique twist: Ink & Drink - a monthly series where projects will be based around ink. The November session will be an intro to calligraphy at Wild Rice Bistro. Participants will have the opportunity to learn to the basics from local calligrapher Renée Alexander, practice their skills and enjoy some refreshments. So grab some friends (or make some new ones) but be sure to register early as space is limited! The ticket price covers the cost for instruction, a beverage and some light snacks. Material fees are separate, or you can bring your own supplies. The recommended materials list is as follows: black ink - higgins eternal or sumi / pointed nib - nikko G or hunt imperial / oblique pen holder / paper - rhodia blank.
