Here are some places in Downtown New West you can go to support and further your hobbies this summer!

A casual tailor or anyone interested in sewing might find the tools they need at Fabricland. With a wide selection of fabrics, threads and any textile material you can think of, it’s a good bet to find what you’re looking for.

Looking to dive into leather work? A great choice is Hand and Sew, they teach classes and host workshops to get you interested in the medium.

Maybe this year you got into playing games on an older console, be sure to stop by Gamedeals to pick up some classics. If tabletop games are more your speed, Rain City Games has a large variety for every type of player.

If you’ve gotten into health and fitness recently or are looking to start, Downtown New West has got your back! With Yoga by the River or boxing at Sugarrays, there are plenty of activities for the fitness fanatic. If you’re looking for a good spot to go for a run, Downtown has the best of both worlds – hills and long flat stretches, try running along the boardwalk!

And if you’re a photographer be sure to come downtown for some fun photoshoot locations from murals, parks, buildings and views of the mighty Fraser that are sure to take your breath away.
