Lookout Society's Homeless Stories

Read their stories and make a pledge to someone in need.

Strong Side Conditioning

They're raising money for Purpose Society! For every $1 raised, they will lift 1kg in a deadlift. When they exceed their 1RM, they will do multiple max lifts to get to the donation amount equivalent in kg lifted. Videos of their deadlifts will be shared every Friday this month on their Twitter. Donate at SSC or online.

Senior Services Society

Help Seniors Services Society help seniors by joining the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in February. This walk allows participants the opportunity to experience a hint of the challenges faced by homeless people during cold Canadian nights in the dead of winter, as well as raise money to help these people.

New Westminster Police

The Take One Leave One coat rack is back! If you're cleaning out your closet and have a coat to donate please leave one; if you're cold and in need of a coat, feel free to take one. The coat rack can be accessed during lobby hours 9-5 Monday through Friday until December 29th.

This is a great way to spread generosity and Christmas cheer. Happy holidays!
