I never realized that you could find heaven in Downtown New West, on the first floor of the River Market, and yet there it is... Re-up BBQ!

Re-up is the place to get BBQ food to go, wait times are relatively short and you can enjoy your meal right on the boardwalk. They even have unique drinks that are made in store such as southern sweet tea and their own cola. All around Re-up is amazing, but their sandwiches really take the cake. Read on for Re-up’s best sandwiches.

Fried Chicken Sandwich
This may be the best chicken sandwich you will ever eat. The chicken is juicy, thick and tender. The fried breading leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, it’s perfect. It has an extraordinary crunch with a hint of spice and tons of flavour. The sandwich is also much bigger than your run-of-the-mill fast food fried chicken sandwich, giving you a bang for your buck.

Pulled Pork
The pulled pork sandwich is one of the cheaper menu items but that doesn’t mean that it's not amazing. The pork has been slow roasted and seasoned for hours, and you can literally taste the time and effort that went into it. It’s a simple sandwich, just bread, meat, seasoning and some coleslaw but that is why it's so good. Re-up knows what they do well and they don’t try to over complicate it. So, if you’re in the mood for something simple yet delicious, grab a pulled pork sandwich.

Beef Brisket
Saying beef brisket is good is kind of like saying the world is round, it’s a fact that is only disagreed with by a tiny percentage of the population. Who doesn’t love a thick slice of prime meat, besides vegans? The combination of the beef brisket with the coleslaw is excellently executed and it’s made portable with a bun. The beef brisket sandwich makes for an amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack or even elevenses for any hobbits out there (well at least between the hours of 10am-7pm.)
