Love music? The Arts Council of New West’s summer concert series -- Music by the River -- combines live musical performances with local craft beer and wine for a fun evening for all ages. Come help set up and enjoy the live performances while enjoying an evening at the pier. Music by the River is happening Tuesday and Thursday evenings in July. Click here for more information.

Are you a sports fan? Come help out at a world class professional cycling event here in New West. Part of BC Superweek, the Grand Prix is a one day racing event held in the historic downtown area, featuring some of the best riders from around the world! There are plenty of things to be done, so whether you’re an avid cyclist or a keen spectator, all hands are welcome. The New West Grand Prix is happening July 9th. Click here for more information.

Calling all foodies! The Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Festival is back again this year and bigger than ever. Want to help spread the love this summer? New West Pride 2019 marks the festival’s 10th anniversary, as well as the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality in Canada.
