Featuring songs, slam poetry, and sock puppets(?!), Devon More's Berlin Waltz is a highly entertaining, politically-charged travelogue through high jinx and history.

Analog Vinyl Fair

Launched by Steel & Oak Brewing Co. and the Arts Council of New Westminster in the fall of 2016, the sixth edition of Analog Vinyl Fair takes place in the River Market food hall at 810 Quayside Drive. In addition to much-loved River Market food vendors, indigenous fusion food truck Mr. Bannock will be on-site to round out the food offering.
Record collectors, beer lovers and food enthusiasts from across Metro Vancouver will gather in New Westminster for an evening of music, food, beer and vinyl.

2019 Remembrance Day Service

This years' service acknowledges and commemorates the experiences and contributions of Indigenous peoples in the wars.
The service will commence at 10:30 am. Parade assembly 10:25 am at Queens Avenue and Sixth Street. Wreath pick up from tent on City Hall front lawn beginning at 8:00 am. Seating available on Royal Avenue.

Started in Tokyo in 2003 by Klein Dytham Architecture firm, PechaKucha Night began as a fun and unique night of local culture and entertainment. Ten presenters from a range of fields share their interesting projects, inspirations and passions. There's only one catch - presenters get 20 images, 20 seconds each, making for a 6 minute and 40 second shot of ideas and inspiration.
Drinks at 7:00 pm in the lobby of the Anvil Theatre and enjoy local craft beer and wine while you mingle with your fellow attendees and neighbours. At 8:00 the fun starts in the theatre with ten PechaKucha talks and a short intermission mid-way.
Prepare to be engaged, entertained and inspired.

Christmas is coming! We invite you to join us at the Wylde Wood Christmas Faire where a warm and festive welcome awaits...
This event will herald the beginning of Christmas Season at River Market. The Ghost of Christmas Present from the classic story A Christmas Carol is your host, making for a wonderful spectacle and photo op! In support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, we are gratefully accepting donations of non-perishable foods and cash to help the less fortunate this Christmas.
There will be puppet shows by Vancouver Puppet Theatre, plus roving puppetry, and an opportunity for children to build their own puppets! We will have carollers, wandering little elves handing out treats, activities for children, and a free prize basket draw worth over $100 of art and craft from The Wylde Wood Collective!
Plus, beautiful rare gift options from our historic and fantasy themed and costumed vendors! Jewellery, art, graphic novels and comics, costume pieces and accessories, books, sculpted creatures, leatherwork, and lots more will be found at the faire! The Wylde Wood Collective shop upstairs will be decked out in holiday finery, its Christmas theme being Steampunk Toyshop!
If you are the costume-loving sort, we encourage you to wear one!
