About Seniors Services Society Our Mission: We assist seniors with housing, social and support programs. Our Vision: We foresee a community where everyone lives with dignity, in a safe, comfortable and healthy home. Seniors Services Society is the point of contact for many services providers and individuals across the lower mainland looking for services for seniors in need. The need for more services continues to grow in all areas, and is particularly apparent in our housing department. Homelessness among the senior population has become a major concern in metro Vancouver. As the only agency that works exclusively with the elderly who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, we are seeing firsthand the increase in numbers of seniors facing a housing crisis.
