Faces of the Fraser – By the River, From the Street

#FacesoftheFraser is a speaker series that features individuals and groups that are connected to the mighty Fraser River. Our next session is on April 15th at 2pm, with Alan Haig-Brown and Rick Blacklaws, collaborators on Random Walks: New West from the Street, a recently published book of photos as a result of daily walks during the pandemic. Haig-Brown, whose photography and writing career has spanned the globe, will explain the rationale behind the selection of images and the technical joys of iPhone photography, reflecting on the ever-evolving culture of New West in relation to the Fraser River's geography and history.
