When: Saturday, December 14th, 2019, 11:00am - 3:00pm Where: Fraser River Discovery Centre In collaboration with the City of New Westminster’s ‘New West Winter Fest’ campaign, the Fraser River Discovery Centre will be hosting a series of family-friendly activities throughout the day, all with the goal of fostering discovery and appreciation for the Fraser River in wintertime, and inviting us all to consider how we can engage with and learn about the river all year round. Holiday gifts with a personal twist! Make personalized greeting cards, try your hand at origami boat building, and bring your own tote bags or tea towels to decorate! The River Flowing communal art project. Help us decorate our Fraser River mural with fish, boats, and other animals you get to make yourselves! Pens, pencils, paper and stencils all provided – just bring your imagination! Wintery Photo Booth! Want to get that perfect photo for your family this year? Pose like a pro in our winter decorated photo booth and try on some snazzy costumes to get into the spirit of the season. Holiday Games and activities for the whole family!
