International Overdose Awareness Day

August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. A vigil will be taking place on August 31, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Hyack Square, beside Kelly O'Bryan's Restaurant and near New Westminster SkyTrain Station. Let's join together to show support for those impacted, to remember loved ones lost and help prevent overdoses. Many impacted by addiction experience stigma, judgement, lack of support, and lack of any evidence based addiction support in the health care system. There is much that can be improved.
