Music by the River

Enjoy an evening of music in the park. Each night will feature a free fitness class at 5:00 pm, family-friendly activities from 5:00-8:00 pm and a featured live musical performance starting at 7:00 pm. Bring a blanket, chairs, family and friends and enjoy an evening of great tunes and activities. Wednesday, August 9, Westminster Pier Park 5:00 - 8:00 pm Food: Dos Amigos Food Truck Eats at the Pier Concession Activities: Police Car Tours: Tour a police car and meet members from New Westminster Police Park Play: A variety of arts, crafts and small games Lawn Games: Corn hole, giant jenga and more Fitness: 5:00 pm Zumba with Janice – Mix low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style dance fitness party. Music: 6:00 pm Royal City Sound DJ’s 7:00 pm Live Music featuring Quayside Voices Artist Bio: Quayside Voices is a Canadian Vocal band based out of New Westminster BC. Our music is brought to life with drums, keyboards, and bass - but with a twist, all of those sounds are created using our voices! Established in 2014, Quayside's put together hundreds of songs and continues to elevate each performance with high energy and impactful movement. Stephanie Lam, Troy Martell, Aerhyn Lau, Daniel Young, and Elyse Kantonen make up the quintet along with Emil Wu as their Sound Engineer. Quayside’s also collaborated with vocal bands across the country including Victoria’s Fifth Street, Edmonton’s 6 Minute Warning, and Toronto’s Countermeasure. Internationally, they’ve produced and shared the stage with world-renowned artists The Real Group.
