River Basin Days: Vancouver City Nature Challenge!

River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families, organized by the Fraser River Discovery Centre. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! This month’s River Basin Days workshop will be part of the City Nature Challenge, a global bioblitz where cities compete to see who can observe the most nature in a four-day period. Every observation submitted helps Greater Vancouver win, but more importantly, helps scientists around the world learn more about biodiversity. So join us on April 30th at Brae Island Regional Park in Langley Township as we look for wildlife, and submit observations to iNaturalist. Guided walks will be from 12:30 – 1:30, and 2:00 – 3:00.
