Vancouver Chamber Music Society Presents: Kallaci String Trio

Tickets: $20-38 plus service charges Programme: String Trio in B flat Major, D 471 – Schubert String Trio in C (1933) – Françaix 8 Pieces for Violin and Cello, Op. 39 (1909) – Glière String Trio in C minor, Op.9 No.3 – Beethoven Kallaci String Trio, formerly Kallaci String Quartet, is comprised of three phenomenal soloists originally from Korea: violinist Yoojin Jang, violist Hanna Lee, and cellist Joonho Shim. Their superb musicianship as both individuals and as an ensemble earned them much attention from their formation in 2012. Soon after, they made their debut at the Kumho Art Hall in Seoul, Korea. After numerous international performances with stand in violinists for the late Hyuk-Joo Kwun, the ensemble will appear as a trio for the first time in New Westminster. Though relatively unknown in North America, their Canadian debut performance promises to be a thrilling experience.
