Fridays On Front
We're back!
Fridays on Front returns as we continue to Bounce Back!
Fridays on Front, presented by Douglas College, is a series of weekly block parties located on Front Street Mews in Downtown New Westminster, located within walking distance of both Columbia and New Westminster SkyTrain Stations. The event will run on six dates this year: July 7th, 14th and 21st, and August 11th, 18th, and 25th from 5:00-9:00pm.
This year, we’re hosting each evening with a fun and festive theme.
On July 7th - We're having a Summer Kickoff
On July 14th - We're Celebrating East Asia
On July 21st - We're having a Bollywood Bash
On August 11th - We're Throwing it back!
On August 18th - We're celebrating our Pride
On August 25th - We finish with The Last Act
Presented by Douglas College, in partnership with the City of New Westminster, Port of Vancouver, New West Record, Tourism New West, Pooni Group, EVO, and Fresh Prep.

Find us on the Front Street Mews between Moodswing Cafe + Bar and Westley's Military Surplus, only a 5-minute walk away from Columbia Skytrain Station.
Here's what you NEED TO KNOW before coming:
- Attendance is FREE!
- We suggest taking transit, walking, or biking to the event. Parking is limited so please plan a safe ride home.
- You must be 19+ and provide 2 pieces of valid ID to receive a wristband and purchase bar tokens
- Purchase your bar tokens first then head to one of two bars to redeem them. Visa, Mastercard, Debit, and cash accepted
- Beer and wine will be available between 5 pm and 8:30 pm. Token sales will end at 8:20 pm sharp!
- Bar pricing: 355ml can of beer is $7, 5oz glass of wine is $7 (Lookout Society will be collecting empty cans in support of their I's on the Street program, look for their booth)
- You must be 19+ and provide 2 pieces of valid ID to purchase bar tokens
- No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. We'll have plenty of them inside!
- Intoxicated persons may not enter/will be removed from the event area
- Beer and wine tokens are NON-REFUNDABLE but they’re valid to use at any of the 6 event dates!
