6 New Businesses are Marching In!
With 6 new businesses opening up this month, it’s safe to say Downtown’s got our very own March Madness. Keep reading below to learn about what the new awesome places in our community offer up, from Turkish Mosaic Lamps to authentic Italian pizzas.
Learn how to make your own Turkish Mosaic Lamp at 332 Columbia Street! These dazzling lamps will add a stunning regal touch to your home, plus they’re curated by your very own hands. You can book your workshop through their website. It’s a perfect solo activity or to do with your pals, and folks are raving about how incredible their instructors are, so you’ll be in safe hands. You'll even get to taste Turkish treats & tea while crafting your lamp!

We’ve got a New Foodie Joint in town! Our 2nd new business of this month is the one and only Gastronomia. Filling in the shoes of the old Starbucks, they’re a Deli & Bakery serving authentic Italian pizzas, sandwiches, desserts, coffee & more! They’re open 10 am-7 pm on weekdays and 10 am-5 pm on Saturdays at 601 Columbia Street. Drop by and bite into their indelible Italian flavours!

Maestro Hair & Body Works specialize in haircuts, shaves, razor fades, beards & facial spas! They’re a great barbershop for folks of all ages with a comfortable seating area too. Get your hair taken care of here with some nice tunes playing in the back. Plus, they’ve got a whole selfie photoshoot in their shop to capture just how handsome you are!

Moodswing nights are the centrepiece of the new cocktail lounge at Old Crow Coffee. They're bringing the community tasty eats & boozy treats! Moodswing Nights will happen every Friday & Saturday from 6 to 11 pm, and you can reserve your seats through the link in their instagram's bio.

Long Cap Liquor is the first distillery to open in New Westminster in over 40 years! We can't wait to see the absolute treasures that will emerge from this comeback of a business!
Kushi Mura did some Spring cleaning, and they're coming back as Wok & Sushi this April! We can't wait to see all the new yummy eats that will be served after this rebrand, and we're sure it'll be up to par with their scrumptious offerings as always.
