Pier Park
Close to the parkade, with patches of green and several seating options, Pier Park allows visitors to maintain social distancing while finding a comfortable place to picnic.
New West Quay
Near the newly-opened playground, a patch of green and a clear view of the water, the New West Quay is perfect for a family picnic!

Whether it's for brunch, lunch or an early dinner, having a meal outdoors is a staple of fun summertime activities. Here are some examples of places to grab a to-go meal easily.
Big Star Sandwich
Big Star Sandwich’s menu has a wide range of sandwiches available, from fresh egg, bacon and cheddar breakfast sandwiches to slow-roasted beef and even vegetarian lunch options!
Butcher’s Table
With more options for meat-lovers than ever, Butcher’s Table offers not only delicious sandwiches, but also charcuterie boxes and picnic packs that would be perfect for a riverside picnic. Just make sure to call in the day before to have your charcuterie box prepared in time!

Alcoholic Beverages
For those over the age of 19, alcoholic beverages are permitted at Pier Park and other select New West parks between 11:00am and dusk, seven days a week. We ask that you act and drink responsibly if you choose this option.
