Many of us are fortunate enough to not need too much from friends and Santa over the holidays. So for the people who already have everything, why not pay it forward?

One idea this year is to donate money or gifts in your friend's name and give back to the community during the season of giving.

Consider:

The Lookout Society's Homeless Stories: spend a moment and read the powerful stories about homelessness in our community.

Greater Vancouver Food Bank - many of us spend the holidays being glutenous and constantly eating. Instead, donate food items or funds to those who go without.

Seniors Services Society - either donate or learn about their Coldest Night walk in February, benefiting seniors in housing crisis.
