The Fraser River Discovery Centre is located on the traditional territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Halq̓eméylem speaking peoples. As "The Voice of the Fraser," the Fraser River Discovery Centre presents the stories of the Fraser River and its contribution to the life, history, and future of British Columbia. Discover the environment, economy and culture of the Fraser River through rotating exhibits and hands-on programmes at the Fraser River Discovery Centre in New Westminster. The Discovery Centre seeks to connect communities up- and down-river and to provide a place to discuss, debate, and showcase the living, working Fraser River.
Please note that if you are driving to the FRDC, parking is restricted due to ongoing construction around the Centre. Available nearby parking spots include the Anvil Centre (777 Columbia Street) and the Inn at the Quay (900 Quayside Drive). Open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
