Jaqua Page* has a passion for helping people navigate the complex world of Family Law, Wills & Estates and Elder Law. Based in New Westminster, British Columbia, Jaqua practices throughout the Lower Mainland and the province of British Columbia.
Jaqua began her legal career in family law, specializing in cases involving child support and spousal support. Over the years, Jaqua has expanded her area of practice to include applications for divorce, guardianship, custody, parenting arrangements and the division of family property. Her law practice also includes other areas of law touching families and older adults such as the provision of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Enhanced Representation Agreements and matters involving Elder Abuse, Capacity and Committee Applications.
Jaqua is committed to educating her clients by clearly explaining their legal rights and responsibilities while fearlessly advocating for them to achieve the best possible outcome. Jaqua believes that by explaining the options under the relevant law in plain language promotes her client’s having confidence and satisfaction in the choices they make during the legal process.
Jaqua was called to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2007 and the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 2010. She is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, former Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association BC Brach Elder Law Section, member and past president of the New Westminster Bar Association and served for several years on the Board of Directors of Seniors First BC.
