Canada Day In Your Backyard? Here’s How
Canada Day might look different than ever before, but COVID-19 can’t stop our pride for our country. New Westminster’s Canada Day celebration has gone virtual!
This year, choose your own adventure and take part in activities available now, leading up to and including Canada Day. Order take out or delivery, put on some music and dance the night away (safely distanced from your neighbours, of course). Just because we can’t physically be together doesn’t mean we can’t unite from afar!

The virtual celebration features a collection of easily accessible and family friendly activities including: arts and crafts, games, celebration packs, an O Canada sing-along and a bubble picnic. Plus, the evening will end with an exciting virtual fireworks show!
Our virtual fireworks display will be taking place on the Snapd Hub app, where augmented reality will make fireworks show up in the sky right from your phone!
